Have Faith And Fear Not

Don’t let people take away what God has promised you.  We shouldn’t stay more focused on our circumstances than God’s promises.  Are you willing to commit your circumstances to God?  Fear and doubt will cause us to question our faith.

How do you answer “what if”?  I KNOW!

Ephesians 5:20

Psalm 130:5-6
(Sermon Notes - Rev. Joey Burns)

When I tell myself I am inadequate, God tells me different.  I am worthy.  I am loved.  I am His.

Be Spiritually Strong In The Lord

2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Every Christian, in some way, is facing adversity.  The enemy is trying to attack.  The Holy Spirit is our weapon of mass destruction!  If you trust God, He will supply your needs.  What’s the most important aspect of your life today?  Jesus? OR Is it:
    1. Money - Don’t let strongholds lock you in a spiritual prison.
    2. Job - If you put your job in front of your spiritual man you will falter.  You MUST attend church.  It’s imminent.
    3. Family - Next to God this should be more important.  But not even our families come before God.

So what matters most?  Our relationship with God and our spiritual man.

Ephesians 6:10

Lean on the Lord and you will be victorious.  If you’ve got your spiritual man in check you can face your worldly enemies.  The devil wants your life to be in chaos but God wants us to have a blessed life.  If we don’t attack things spiritually we will not be overcomers.

Trash Day!

Ephesians 4:17
Ephesians 5:1-2
Ephesians 5:21

As followers of God we must get rid of the trash in our lives.  Gather up and get rid of the trash in your life that will keep you from being the follower of God that you should be.

“When you use the name of Jesus it will give the devil and nervous chill.” - Rev. EC Campbell

I don’t want to have actions, attitudes or habits that will displease the Lord.  The truth about trash: if you leave it alone it will overtake you.  Trash is progressive.  It gets worse if not taken care of.

Philippians 4:4-9

If you are struggling with no peace or joy - take out the trash!

Colossians 3:5-17

Ephesians 4:20-24
