I try to be all cool and talk to people...I end up doing this...

Certain things, they should just stay the way they are. You ought to be able to stick them in one of those big glass cases and leave them alone. I know that's impossible, but it's too bad anyway

'Keep looking up', Mama used to tell me. 'There's nothing on the ground but your feet.

I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to chose where we come from, we can still chose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them

i feel like the squirrels that so often run in front of our car
& then stand paralyzed in the forward crunch of the tires
i’m torn between the compulsion to run
& the urge to stand still & hope the danger will pass

Do not pity the dead. pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love.

Leviticus 6:8-13
Exodus 29:38,42

It’s important that we continually maintain the fire of the Lord in our lives.  We can’t be wishy washy!  It’s time we understood the process of the anointing.  Maintain - continually keep yourself in that state.  We need to show the world Jesus!  I want Him to meet me in all I do.  The fire of God consumes things in our lives that don’t need to be there.  How can I keep my fire burning?
    1. Pray - faithful in prayer - daily communication with God.  Meditating on Him constantly.
Be mindful of the presence of God always.
    2.  Be faithful to the Word of God.  The fire on the altar was a constant reminder of the presence of God.
The fire will cause us to be who God wants us to be.

Job 13:15

Don’t let your circumstances dictate who you are.

Jeremiah 20:7
(Sermon Notes - Rev. Brad Stevens)

It's amazing, some people, they just say these small little things, one sentence and it changed the way you feel about them in an instant. Small little words that can hurt you so much or make you fall deeply in love forever. It changes everything, nothing between you is ever really the same again, even if they dont know it, it still happens.

For an instant love can transform the world...

Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinary love, It's a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in life Love shouldn't be one of them.

I can make no apologies for following my heart.

Falling even more in love with you, letting go of all I've held on to, I'm standing here until you make me move.. I'm hanging by a moment here with you.

Love... We think about it, sing about it, dream about it, lose sleep worrying about it. When we don't have it, we search for it; when we discover it, we don't know what to do with it; when we have it, we fear losing it. It is the constant source of pleasure and pain. But we can't predict which it will be from one moment to the next. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, impossible to live without.

1 Kings 18:41-46

When you’re in the lowest valley, you need the Holy Ghost to help you through.  Don’t ever be caught by yourself in this journey of life.  The Holy Ghost will change our lives by our worship.

PREPARE:
    To see God
    To hear God
To be ready for the rain!

The power and presence of God will meet us according to our passion for Him.  We need to live close enough to God that we can hear Him.  I’m so thankful to be a small part of God’s big plan.

I’m not going to lie to ya, it isn’t going to be easy and there will be some days where life just sucks. But you can get through this ‘cause I’m gonna help you.

Acts 26:1-7
The presence of God is something that will keep you. It’s time we be stirred up and change. When the Lord is moving, that’s the time for us to move. Wake up everyday and renew yourself and encourage yourself. Remember the promises you’ve made to God. It’s important that we move in God’s time.
Acts 26:9
Let God arise in your life and you will be blessed.
Acts 26:10-13
Be smart enough to listen to the voice of God.
Acts 26:14-18
Don’t lose your change between the altar and the door.
Acts 26:19
To change means to turn 180 degrees from your present behavior and thoughts and to repent. The Lord stirs and moves upon sinners. It’s time that we get a grip on our lives. God will not put anything in your heart that you are not able to reach. God will not set you up to fail. He knows what you need.
