Sealing Up The Cracks
John 3:22-31
We must submit to the desires of the Spirit and not the desires of the flesh. Feed your Spirit man before you worry about your fleshly man. If you’re exalted in yourself, you’ll receive nothing. You can receive nothing unless it comes through the Master’s Hands. If you’re not careful you’ll let the circumstances around you get your eyes off Jesus.
John 1:29
You can have everything this world has to offer and what have you got? Nothing. Examine yourself by the Word of God and see if Jesus is abiding in you. If there wasn’t such a thing as backsliding, why would Paul teach about it? I’m astonished at how people can move away from grace. How does your Spiritual house yield Spiritual damage? When you yield to the flesh?
Galatians 5:21
It’s so important to submit yourself to the Spirit and not to the flesh. If you’ve got Jesus in you, He will correct you when you’ve done wrong.
Galatians 5:16
Works of the flesh shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Adultery
Fornication (both are sexual immorality)
Idolatry - putting ones chief affection on any other object/person than God.
Witchcraft
Hatred
Wrath
The #1 thing in our lives: GOD.

Do you ever just get that feeling where you don't want to talk to anybody? You don't want to smile, and you don't want to fake being happy. But at the same time, you don't know exactly what is wrong either. There isn't a way to explain it to someone who doesn't already understand. If you could want anything in the world it would be to be alone. People have stopped being comforting... and being alone never was. At least when you're alone no one constantly asks you what is wrong and there isn't anyone who wont take 'I don't know' for an answer. You feel the way you do just BECAUSE. You hope the feeling will pass soon and that you will be able to be yourself again, but until then all you can do is wait.
How Did I Get Here?
Jeremiah 18
Jeremiah 6:10-15
If you don’t hold fast to the Word of God you’re in danger of a great fall.
Jeremiah 8:4-15
I’ll follow the Lord until I can get to Him! What is backsliding? To regress in the Lord. It’s not a shame to make a bad choice. It’s a shame to not get it covered by the blood and get forgiveness. We can’t allow misfortune to lead us away from the grace of God. Even when you’re in a backslidden condition, God says, “you’re still in my hands.”
