God will never disappoint a praiser. Just ask Paul and Silas. At midnight as they sang praises, God opened their prison doors. Just ask Daniel. As he gave God thanks, those hungry lions couldn't touch him. Just ask Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They went into the fiery furnace full of praise and came out without even smelling like smoke.

The older i get the more i realize
- Friendship is not something that is common. Genuine Friendship is rare
- Your mother should be appreciated
- Everybody wants something and never ask themselves what they bring to the table
- The energy you give the world is the energy you receive
- Time alone is not a bad thing
- Love is a gift and is not something you can demand or force
Things you don’t have to apologize for

Maybe love stays. Maybe love can’t. Maybe love shouldn’t. Love arrives
exactly when love is supposed to. And love leaves exactly when love
must. When love arrives, say, ‘Welcome. Make yourself comfortable.’ If
love leaves, ask her to leave the door open behind her. Turn off the
music, listen to the quiet. Whisper, ‘Thank you for stopping by.'

To be happy, it
first takes being comfortable being in your own shoes. The rest can
work up from there. The hardest situation to stay happy in, I think,
is when you’re trying to find love, and yourself at the same time. It
just doesn’t seem to fit well. So I believe that happiness is being
able to wake up and just know that this is what you wanted, and not
what somebody else wanted.
So, I’ve been
thinking about this whole being happy thing, and I feel like people
get lost when they think of happiness as a destination. We’re always
thinking that someday we’ll be happy; we’ll get that car or that job
or that person in our lives that’ll fix everything. But happiness is a
mood, and it’s a condition, not a destination. It’s like being tired
or hungry, it’s not permanent. It comes and goes, and that’s okay. And
I feel like if people thought of it that way, they’d find happiness
more often.
When you're young, your whole life is
about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious.
You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and
sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone
there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it
stop being fun and start being scary?

I'd like to tell today's youth
that no matter where life takes you, big cities, small towns, you'll
inevitably come across small minded people who think they're better
than you. People who think that material things, or being pretty
or popular, automatically make you a worthwhile human being. I'd
like to tell today's youth that none of these things matter. Unless
you have a strength of character, integrity, ... and if you're lucky
enough to have any of these things, don't ever sell out. Don't ever
sell out. So when you meet a person for the first time, don't judge
them by their station in life, 'cause who knows, that person just
might end up being your best friend.
