Gratitude

Thanksgiving should be a continuous attitude expressed by the Christian. We all have many reasons to thank God - take a few minutes to list His blessings and you'll be amazed at what He's done for you. Give God praise for what He has done in your life and for what He will do in the future!

Ephesians 5:19-20 - Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

James 5:13 - Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

1 Chronicles 16:34 - O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

True Thanksgiving means that we need to thank God for what He has done for us, and not to tell Him what we have done for Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 4:4 - For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

Colossians 3:17 - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Psalm 9:1 - I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

Psalm 92:1-2 - IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

Hebrews 12:28 - Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Psalm 136:1 - O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
