1. Hear It –Luke 11:28, “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Acts 13:7, “Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.”
And in verse 44 it says, “On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.”
Luke 5:1, “So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God…”
2. Read It – Matthew 21:42, “Jesus said to them, ‘Have you never read in the Scriptures: “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’S doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes”?’”
3. Know It – Mathew 22:29, “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.’”
Psalms 119:79, “Let those who fear You turn to me, Those who know Your testimonies.”
4. Keep It – Deuteronomy 6:17, “You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.”
1st Kings 2:3, “And keep the charge of the LORD your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.”
5. Speak It – Acts 4:31, “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
Acts 13:46, “Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, ‘It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.’”
Psalms 119:46, “I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, And will not be ashamed.”
6. Spread It – Acts 6:7, “Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.”
7. Teach It – Acts 18:11, “And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.”
8. Fulfill It (or Do It) – Colossians 1:25, “I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God…”
Luke 8:21, “But He answered and said to them, ‘My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.’”
9. Taste It – Hebrews 6:5, “and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come…”
Psalms 119:103, “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
10. Open It (or understand it) – Luke 24:32, “And they said to one another, ‘Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?’”
And verse 45, “And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.”
11. Receive It – Acts 11:1, “Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.”
Acts 8:14, “Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them…”
12. Preach It – Acts 13:5, “And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews.”
Acts 17:13, “But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also and stirred up the crowds.”
13. Welcome It – 1st Thessalonians 2:13, “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”
14. Die For It – Revelation 6:9, “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.”
Revelation 20:4, “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God…”
15. Search It – John 5:39, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.”
Acts 17:11, “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”
16. Believe It – John 2:22, “Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.”
17. Delight In It – Psalms 119:24, “our testimonies also are my delight And my counselors.”
18. Cling To It – Psalms 119:31, “I cling to Your testimonies; O LORD, do not put me to shame!”
19. Meditate On It – Psalms 119:99, “I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation.”
20. Love It – Psalms 119:119, “You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross; Therefore I love Your testimonies.”
