Easing Into Darkness

Jeremiah 5:22-29

Many Christians today are easing out into the darkness and losing their fear of God.  It’s high time we get the fear of God in us.  Taking part in the uncleanness of the world while trying to remain in the faith will not work.  There is nowhere we can go to get away from the eyes of the Lord.  If we lower our standards to please the world, we have nothing.

Test yourself.  Take an examination of your fear of the Lord.  Is it easy to do the things the Lord would not want you to do?

Matthew 10:28

People are more apt to satisfy the world than to satisfy God.  You can’t speak words of deceit with one tongue and preach praise with another.  The only thing I know that has a split tongue is a snake. 

Hebrews 10:31

If you don’t fear Him today,  you may be standing before Him tomorrow.

Hebrews 12:25-29

It is a dangerous thing to refuse the Word of God. 

Acts 9:31

With the fear of God you can be elevated in the church.  The devil don’t care if you go do church as long as you keep listening to him.
