2 Kings 4:8-10
God wants us to live with joy! Prepare a place for God to stay - in your heart. When He knocks, willingly open the door. It is well. There is peace in my despair knowing God will hear my prayer. Sometimes in our lives there are people who try to push us away from the plan of God. But, we must push on. When we are in trouble and don’t know what to do, Jesus won’t leave us hanging. He sees us when we are in deep distress. Even when we can’t speak, He knows our heart. But, we must give Him a dwelling place. If you try to do things on your own you are going to make a mess of it. The best thing we can do with our lives sometimes is to leave things alone. Oh, what peace we often forfeit because we won’t take it to God. Having a meltdown? Melt right down on your knees. Because of the price Jesus paid on Calvary we can go boldly to the throne of Grace. Realize God is there for us. All we have to do is approach the throne. Always dwell where Jesus is.
Hebrews 4:14
