Genesis 3
There is something that God blesses in the midst of niavity that is irreplaceable. When you come to Him like a child, He moves! Quit over thinking things. Don't worship your mind and not God's mind. Eve's desire was not a bad one...she just went about it the wrong way. It's wrong to use divine power to accomplish human (not Spiritual) need. Trying to satisfy a legitimate need in an illegitimate way is all temptation is. You're not wrong to have the need but you may be wrong with the method you employ to meet the need. The "serpent" tempted Jesus the same way during the 40 days. But, HE, unlike Eve, went about it the right way. He spoke the Word against Satan.
Matthew 4:4
People only hide when they're afraid. Perfect love casts out fear. This man made stuff is a poor replacement for a relationship.
